Our mission is to empower individuals and families by providing the tools and support needed to enhance their quality of life. As a group of experienced and passionate social workers, we are dedicated to

Carolina Ferrer - Founder, LCSW, QS

Carolina is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in the field for over 17 years. Carolina received her Bachelors of Social Work in 2008, her Masters of Social Work in 2010, and received her license as a clinical social worker in 2014.


Much of Carolina's professional experience has been working with vulnerable populations such as those experiencing substance abuse, domestic violence, prenatal/post partum/ adoption challenges, immigration related challenges, and numerous mental health conditions.


Carolina opened her practice in 2020 and now serves over 150 individuals within the community. Her goal is to meet individuals where they are at in life and provide assistance and empowerment in their mental health journey. Carolina works from a utilitarian approach and strives to serve as much good to the community through each individual.

Our Providers

Shelia Dixon - LCSW, QS

Shelia earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from Florida State University in 2008. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor she has over 17 years of experience in the field.


Shelia’s career includes providing counseling, case management, and crisis intervention for at-risk youth and families. She has focused on prevention and treatment to address issues like truancy, delinquency, homelessness, and involvement in the juvenile justice system.


For the past 8 years, Shelia has held leadership roles, mentoring interns and developing strong partnerships with stakeholders in juvenile justice, mental health, and child welfare. She is also a trainer in suicide prevention (QPR), Motivational Interviewing, Human Trafficking, Trauma-Informed Care, LGBTQIA+ youth, and is working toward becoming a Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer.

Alanna Masony - MSW Registered Clinical Social Work Intern

Alanna graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with her Bachelors in Social Work in 2022 and her Masters in Social Work in 2023. Alanna is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Work Intern from the Florida Board of Social Work.


Alanna began her career in the social work field in 2020 providing case management for individuals with chronic mental health conditions. 


Alanna's passions involve working with children, teens, young adults, and adults. Coming from a holistic frame of work Alanna aims to treat an individuals mental health from all areas of living.

Madalyn Tuttle - MSW Social Work Intern

Maty graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor's degree in social work in the summer of 2024 and is currently enrolled in the advanced standing master’s program for Social Work at FGCU. She aspires to become a licensed clinical social worker after completing her MSW degree. Her passion for social work stems from over a decade of experience working with children, which includes six years of teaching swim lessons. The joy she found in guiding children and supporting families inspired her to pursue a career in social work, where she could make a broader impact on people's lives.


Maty began her career by advocating for vulnerable populations, providing crisis intervention support and case management. She has gained valuable experience working with survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault. Maty is dedicated to helping clients develop the tools they need to reach their goals and navigate life’s challenges at every stage. Her aim is to create a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients feel valued and understood.

Our Staff

Gracie Hope - ESA

Gracie is a hypoallergenic Ausiepoo emotional support animal. At only one year old Gracie is extremely intuitive with others emotions. She can be found greeting clients at the office or sitting in on sessions to provide emotional support to clients.
